TACS1: Introduction to Commercial Real Estate (4 Days) (SAE) (Zoom Only)

This course is designed to prepare students for entry into the commercial real estate field by exposing them to the fundamentals of commercial real estate finance and economics, and then through the application of those fundamental concepts using actual practice scenarios on a variety of property types they are likely to encounter. It will provide a strong grounding in basic concepts that will help students who intend to pursue higher designations such as CCIM. It will also prepare agents who are interested in moving their field of business from residential to commercial, or residential agents who occasionally take part in commercial transactions.

TACS 1 is a required course for REALTORS to become eligible to obtain the Texas Accredited Commercial Specialist (TACS) certification. It covers:
- Differences between Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate
- Working as a Commercial Real Estate Agent
- Key Players/Stakeholders
- CRE Investment Considerations

The goal of the Military Relocation Professional Certification course is to educate real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and take full advantage of military benefits and support. Students will learn how to provide the real estate services-at any stage in the service member’s military career-that meet the needs of this niche market and win future referrals. This course is designed to assist the licensee in gaining critical knowledge to develop their expertise when working with veterans and active-duty military. To provide access to the resources needed for finding affordable, suitable and maintainable housing solutions for military personnel. This course will make the licensee aware of the most current updates and changes pertaining to military housing guidelines.
